Estate Administration and Probate

The probate process can be confusing and intimidating.  Probate is the process that involves collecting a decedent’s assets, notifying creditors, paying liabilities, and distributing the remaining assets to the heirs.  We provide a steady hand to guide you through this process successfully, so the estate of your loved one is settled with minimal complications.

Guardianships and Conservatorships

A guardianship or conservatorship may be necessary for certain situations such as advanced age, the death of a parent with a minor child, or incapacity.  In Massachusetts, Conservators and Guardians are appointed by a Judge of the Probate and Family Court to handle a person’s financial matters or make decisions regarding a person’s care and wellbeing.   At Pardoe Law, we can help prepare and file forms with the Probate Court and assist you with the various duties imposed on the guardian or conservator once the appointment has been made.
